Prize: R5,000 cash + 5 x t-shirts featuring the winning design.

1. The Brief

Design a t-shirt inspired by life in South Africa.

Think cool, current, and on-trend.

·                Any medium.

·                Any number of colours.

·                Design may be placed on the front, back, or both.

·                Mens, ladies, or unisex.

·                One design per designer.

·                Designs must be submitted via email to: laurie@holmesbros.co.za

2. How It Works

·                The Holmes Bros design team will shortlist 10 designs.

·                These will be shared on Holmes Bros social media platforms.

·                The public will vote to choose the final winner.

·                A limited run of 30 t-shirts will be produced featuring the winning design:

o        5 units will be gifted to the winning designer.

o        The remaining units will be available for purchase in Holmes Bros stores.

3. Read This Part Carefully

This competition is not a shortcut for sourcing designs for the Holmes Bros range.

It exists to:

·                Give emerging designers a platform

·                Get one original design produced

·                Celebrate creativity, not exploit it

All submitted designs remain the intellectual property of the designer.

Non-winning designs will not be used or reproduced by Holmes Bros.
